We know how much it means to make holiday memories with your dog who, after all, is a member of the family. There are just a few things to consider when bringing them along. We accept two small or one large well behaved dogs, now at the reduced charge of just £10 per stay.
Your chalet is situated above Yaverland beach which is a lovely long sandy stretch and dog friendly all year round. There are another couple of smaller areas of beach within Sandown Bay which are also dog friendly. Otherwise most beaches on the island are open to dogs before May or after September, please check local signage.
From the site are beautiful walks and a green area next to Sandown Sailing Club which is for dogs (opposite the beach).
The Island is very dog friendly with most pubs and cafes accepting dogs. The Wildheart Cafe near the beach is open to all without paying the entry fee and is very much dog friendly. You can purchase a dog friendly ice cream here.
The site is quite unique in this area in allowing dogs. It is in all our interests for every dog owner to adhere to these rules, both holiday guests and chalet owners alike. It is a privilege to be able to bring dogs on holiday but if their owners disregard the rules, then permission to allow dogs may be withdrawn at anytime by the site owners.
